Wow! If you missed the Core leadership meeting last, you missed an awesome time! The holy spirit was moving as we spent the majority of our time praying together. It was one of the most powerful times that I can remember feeling the presence of the Lord. God has big things in store for us! He is so good to us. If you weren’t able to make it this time, please make the effort to come next time. There is power in prayer. Would you pray with me for revival in our lives individually? Revival that spreads among us and then outside to those that we come in contact with daily. We need it. Our community needs it. Our state and country need it. Let’s take it to the ends of the earth. Let’s go!

Welcome to my first blog! Please check back from time to time as I give you all a peek into what God’s doing in me, in us and the world.
I was driving down to Charleston on business this week and heard a cool idea that fits into our mission of inviting others to Christ. You may have heard it before, but I have a little twist. This week if you are going through a drive thru at your local fast food place, pay for the person’s order behind you. Here’s the twist. Give the cashier 2 of the flyers advertising the current sermon series or the little cards that Pastor David asks us to hand out each week from the bulletin. Invite the cashier to join us for worship and ask him/her to give one of the cards or flyers to the person behind you as well. So they get a random act of kindness in the form of food and an invitation to come worship. Talk about a win, win!
