Family Ministry
  1. Children's Ministry Sign-in/out - This person will simply greet families and check children into the three areas. They will need to be present from 10:10-10:30 and to come out during the final worship song to check children out. We would like to have at least 6 people, one for each area, every other month that rotates.
  2. This person will help setup all of the sound equipment each week and run sound during King's Landing. They would also help to take the sound equipment down for each week. We would like a team of at least 3 that could each do a monthly rotation.
  3. This person would help lead a small group of children from 1st-5th grade through small group activities provided to them about the lesson that week. We need 4 leaders each week that would be willing to rotate one month on, one month off. So we need 8 total.
  4. We need 2 more people to lead the toddlers in their weekly lessons. This includes a craft, songs, storyboard and playtime. We want to setup a team to rotate monthly, with each teacher teaching once every three months.
  5. We need more people that love to care for and give attention to children from birth to 3 yrs old. Each person would work 1 Sunday out of the month in victory lane giving love and caring for the children in there. This may include nursery, or toddler care.
  6. We are looking for additional adults to lead our 4-6yr olds through their weekly lessons. Materials are provided well in advance, and the teams rotate Teachers on a monthly basis, and assistant teachers on a weekly to semi-weekly basis.
  7. Sunday morning youth is looking for Adults that have a passion for teens to teach them on various topics. Rotation is dependent on how long the series is and the Teachers choose what they teach. This is from 9:30am to 10:25am each Sunday.
Welcome Ministry
  1. Be the first face everyone sees on Sunday mornings. Welcome people to worship and give guidance to visitors as to where things are located in the church.
  2. Let visitors know you appreciated their visit by calling them and answering any questions they had about the church.
Worship Ministry
  1. Were always looking to expand our team of vocalists and instrumentalists to participate in Sunday morning worship. P&W team practices on Tuesday evenings. Individuals that would like to join must have an informal interview and audtion with the Worship Leader before joining the P&W team.
  2. Run the sound for the church service, adjusting the mix for the congregation as well as the recordings.
  3. Come up with set themes for the stage to go along with our sermon series and set them up on Sundays.
  4. Run our computers for Sundays. Run ProPresenter for the congregation to see the words on our screens and record podcasts of the service for the website.
  5. Run the video equipment for the Sunday service so the recording can be viewed on our website.
Sunday Morning Crew
  1. Set-up Victory Lane for all of the birth-toddler age children in our church.
  2. Set-up King’s Landing for all of the elementary age children in our church.
  3. Set-up The Depot for all of the preschool age children in our church.
  4. Set-up the Worship Center (chairs, audio, video, lighting, props, etc.) for our main worship service.
  5. Tear-Down Crew helps put away all ministry areas from Sunday mornings and load them back into the trailers.
  6. Trailer drivers bring the trailers to the school on Sundays at 8:00am.
Missions Ministry
  1. Help identify local missions throughout the year the church can take part in (Crisis Assistance Ministry, Mooresville Soup Kitchen, Mooresville Christian Mission, etc.) as well as organize mission trips around the world to set-up some strategic long-term partners.
  2. Help us get the word out about CCCMooresville by placing banners all over town. This ministry rotates and the signs are placed on Fridays and taken back up on Sunday afternoons.
  3. Help people find our church by maintaining our church website. Upload video each week from the sermons and podcasts as well as update all web content.
New Ministries to be started
  1. Lead in forming the calendar of the church. Give your input about events, come up with creative solutions to nagging problems, and give suggestions about how we get to the vision the Lord has given us, and pray together to follow Him as He leads.
  2. We need additional leaders for new small groups. Shepherd a group of people and create an environment to equip people in their faith by showing how the truth of God’s Word meets everyday life. The church pays for small group childcare.
  3. Lead our church forward on our knees by interceding for the needs of the church, calling the church together for specific times of prayer and fasting throughout the year.
  4. Help families that request financial or physical needs by allocating church and community resources.
  5. Lead our church in fellowship opportunities throughout the year by organizing socials, cookouts, family days, etc.
  6. Help reach our community for Christ by organizing ways to go into our surrounding communities and share the love of Jesus. (Planning VBS, Christmas Outreach, Monthly Promotion of handing out fliers, Easter, etc.)
  7. Prepare for this fall and the launch of some great men’s ministry activities that challenge men to a deeper relationship with Christ and each other.
  8. Plan opportunities for women in the church to connect with each other and grow spiritually.
  9. Help others find out where they are gifted and where they fit into serving the Lord in the church. Also, follow-up with people currently serving to assess the fit. Keep in contact will all of the ministry leaders of the church to highlight each ministry’s needs.
  10. This ministry will be centrally located in the hallway so that visitors and members can have a central location to receive information about the different ministries of the church.
  11. Lead people in worship through the dramatic arts.
  12. If you love to make things sparkle, this is a team for you. Prepare the church office for people to meet with the Lord by making the meeting space pristine. The church office is used for so many events and ministries from Worship Band Rehearsal, Women’s Bible Studies, Middle & High School Small Groups, Sunday Night Youth Meeting, etc. Help the church make a great first impression.
